the choice is yours...

as the saying goes, "new year, new beginnings". so i'd like to start this year with the goal of being positive in every way. i know it will not be easy, because i know for a fact that it is easier to just follow what you feel... when your sad, when your disappointed, when your angry.but i also believe that we have a choice...we can choose how to react on the situations that we are into. and this i firmly believe: "you can either choose to be happy or be miserable"...

a letter of hope

by now you may have already heard about the sad news of the hostage drama in manila wherein a bus full of tourists were held captive as hostages by an ex-policeman. it is a very sad incident indeed and we are mourning the lost of many lives.

i am debating to myself whether to post this or not as i wanted this blog to, of course, 'be positive'. but after much deliberation, i realize that 'being hopeful' is being positive. the net is buzzing about what had happened and many opinions are being said here and there, mostly criticism, and again we are being judge as a whole. just as i was feeling down, i have stumbled upon a letter of apology from a filipino teenager regarding this incident and i see 'hope'...his letter proves that all is not lost in this country of ours. and since i wanted 'to be positive' all the time, i will hold on that 'hope'.

B+

i was on my way to the office passing through my usual route when my 'blood type' suddenly occured in my mind. and i quickly reply to myself, "you're a B+". at that instant, i have my "aha" moment...you know, like something of a grand idea pop out of your mind. but it is not really that 'grand'. it's just that, i thought, wow, i'm a "B+". i might as well apply it in my life. i should aim "to be positve" always...no matter how hard...so there you go, i created this blog. though i'm not really a good blogger (i couldn't even keep up with weekly blogging!). i figured, writing it makes it more real, achievable, possible.
